We hope you're looking forward to joining us as a new student or returning student for your next year at University.
Induction starts on Monday 21 September 2026 for all new and returning students. This one-week induction period will give you a chance to get to know the University, the school, and your programme of study. Attending your induction sessions is important so you can make the most out of everything on offer to you.
Teaching will start on Monday, 28 September 2026.
After completing your registration, you’ll get access to Canvas. Some of your induction programme will also be available on Canvas. We'll also be running induction events to support your online learning.
NUSU will also be running a full induction programme including large fairs, new opportunities as well as a BIG programme of discounted (or free) activities, events, and special offers - there's something for everyone. Look at the programme and get involved.
